Authorized contacts are individuals within your organization that you have authorized to contact Evolve IP with technical, billing-related or administrator-related issues.

Please follow the easy instructions provided below to learn how to add and remove contacts.

Adding Authorized Contacts

You can edit the user's Access Rules from their user account. 

  1. Login to your Clearlogin dashboard. This is a specific URL for your company, for example "yourcompanyname.clearlogin.com."

    If you don't know your company Clearlogin URL please visit https://help.evolveip.net/ and login with your email address. If you have an Ossmosis 5 account, then this will bring you to your Clearlogin dashboard, and the URL at this site is your company's Clearlogin URL.

    Note: By default your username is your email address, however users can change their username convention. If you have done so then you will need to use that convention instead.

    If you have forgotten your password to help.evolveip.net you can reset it by clicking the  "Forgot OSSmosis Password" link and following the prompts.

    You can also access Clearlogin administration directly by going to admin.clearlogin.com.


  2. Go to User Profiles, locate the user and click the Edit button to edit their account
  3. The "Editing" page will show. Scroll down until you see the "Access Rules" section
  4. Click in the "Access Rules" field to see a list of default Access Rule options, and choose "Service User." The click the Update Access Rules button.
  5. Next, scroll to the top of the page and click on the Update User button. This step is required.
  6. The user's account will now show Service User as an additional access rule, and they will .

  7. Instruct your user/authorized contact to login to their Clearlogin dashboard (yourcompanyname.clearlogin.com)

They should now have access to the Help Center tile to access The Evolve IP Help Center.

Alternative Method: Adding Contacts from the Access Rules screen

Security > Access Rules

You can also add Access Rules to contacts from Security > Access Rules.

  1. Login to your Clearlogin dashboard. This is a specific URL for your company, for example "yourcompanyname.clearlogin.com."

  2. Click the "Admin Site" button at the top of the screen (this will only show for administrators)
  3. Go to Security > Access Rules
  4. Scroll down to "System"
  5. Click the Edit Access Rule button for the group that you wish to edit.
  6. Add your Authorized contacts.
  7. Click "Update Access Rule."
  8. Now, go to User Profiles, locate the user and click the Edit button to edit their account
  9. Click on the Update User button. This step is required.
  10. Instruct your user/authorized contact to login to their Clearlogin dashboard (yourcompanyname.clearlogin.com) to establish their accountto finish the process.

They should now have access to the Help Center tile to access The Evolve IP Help Center.


Removing Authorized Contacts

You can remove contacts when editing from a User's profile by simply clicking the "x" symbol next to the Access Rule that you wish to remove.
