Add the steps involved:

1. To assign a disposition code to BP, make sure a code set has been created prior. (click here for article )
2. Navigate to Business Processes (disposition codes can only be added to BPs) 
3. Click on the desired BP
4. In the General tab, locate Disposition Code Set drop down
5. Select the desired Disposition Code Set
6. Make sure to deploy
