OVERVIEW
Please be advised that Cisco alerted us to an incompatibility with the current UC1 Mobile application, version 23.9.18, and the upcoming iOS version 15.0 that is expected to be was released by Apple soon. This was discovered on 9/2 during pre-release beta testing, at which time Cisco worked to create a patch release.
The release date of Apple iOS 15 is currently unpublished but has historically happened within days of their annual event which is scheduled for was 9/1420/2021 (https://www.apple.com/apple-events/).

IMPACT

Per the notice from Cisco, “During the test of UC-One Connect with the latest Beta versions of iOS 15, an intermittent issue preventing the users from login in the client has been identified. The issue is only seen when the software is running on iOS 15 Beta.”
This is expected to affect all iOS versions of UC1. Android and PC versions are not affected.

WHAT EVOLVE IP IS DOINGHAS DONE

Cisco has released a minor update of the mobile client, version 23.9.24, that addresses this issue. Evolve IP is currently testing has tested this release thoroughly for fast rollout , however, there is a chance that Apple will release iOS 15 ahead of the mobile update.
Additional notification will be sent when the new mobile version is availableand we will release this version to the Apple Store on TUESDAY OCTOBER 5th.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DOAssuming UC1 compatibility is a priority over the new iOS features, advise your users to NOT accept the iOS update and to disable auto updates until after they have updated the UC1 client to 23.9.24. To disable auto updates on your iOS device, go to Settings/General/Software Update/Automatic Updates and set the toggle to the Off position for Install iOS Updates).
