Troubleshooting Use Case

"The Logitech MS Teams TAP unit (Mid-Size Room) has been refreshing the UI every few minutes. The resolution keeps resizing, and it will not allow the start of video conference calls nor the ability to screen shared"

  • Logitech advised updating NUC Bios, chipset, graphics, and HDMI Firmware
  • Logitech advised setting Tap resolution to 1280 X 800 and run Windows Updates
  • Logitech advised there is a possibility to re-image the system: Microsoft Teams Room NUC Recovery Media Instructions
    • We hope to be able to pinpoint if it is the NUC or the Tap issue so we can get you the right replacement.

    • There is a possibility to re-image the system and most of the time, this will resolve most of the issues related to OS.

    • The benefits to re-image the system are having a backup of your room system as well as saving time to wait for the return of the replacement.

    • The recovery process will take an hour +/- of your time.

  • Resolution: After all troubleshooting was complete, Logitech JumpStart team provied a NUC hardware replacement which corrected this issue,
