We are excited to announce the Evolve Contact Suite (ECS) v5.4.24 release will be available on July 2, 2024.
What do you need to know?
- Any changes made to your environment must be fully deployed via Setup before the upgrade and previously deployed versions will no longer be available after the upgrade.
- If your organization is staffed during maintenance, they will experience a short downtime (less than 10 minutes).
- Users will be notified on their first login after the upgrade to accept and download the newest update. Please instruct your users to take the application update.

This release contains the following feature enhancements and bug fixes.
Enhancements
- SETUP - Global variables.
Detailed feature description - Global Variables - SETUP - Play/Preview prompts in Prompt Activities – the ability to play/preview a media file or TTS text as audio. This applies to Text Repository or Media Repository items as well as to activities using them such as Simple Play, P&C Data, and P&C Selection.
Detailed feature description - Play/Preview prompts in Prompt Activities - Send DTMF tones to the remote party using the Pass to Address activity.
Detailed feature description - Send DTMF tones to the remote party using the Pass to Address activity - New Dashboard Events structure and subscription for eSupervisor.
Detailed feature description - New Dashboard Events structure and subscription for eSupervisor - Change the definition of Overflow which mainly impacts reports and real-time KPIs. In a nutshell, Overflow Interaction is one that exited the BP flow, after it was queued and wasn't answered nor abandoned.
- Agent in Offer state will be considered Ready (not Busy) for 'Check Busy or Idle Agent' activity within the sub-flow.
- Changing the value of the const expression in a Function should require a light deployment instead of a full deployment.
- Improved client’s app reconnect time after network connection drops.
- Missing validations in setup when deleting a variable that is being referenced.
Bug Fixes
- SETUP - Dynamic Routing Data - Initial Export Error (Blank Data).
- eAgent - Business Process/Business Process DIDs not loading for eSupervisor/eAgent that are not assigned to BP as agents.
- eAgent - Exception when loading HPBX directory into contacts.
- SETUP - Reset password sometimes fails for randomly generated password.
- SETUP - Error when importing Channel or BP.
