Security Access > Rules

Login to your Clearlogin dashboard

You can edit the user's Access Rules from their user account. This will require Clearlogin administrator access

A user must exist within Clearlogin in order for them to become an Authorized Contact. If the user doesn't exist yet please follow Adding Users to Clearlogin and then come back to this page.


  1. Login to your Clearlogin dashboard.
  2. Click the padlock button located at the right-hand side of the Clearlogin site ribbon.

    Note: By default your username is your email address, however users can change their username convention. If you have done so then you will need to use that convention instead.

    If you have forgotten your password to help.evolveip.net you can reset it with the "Forgot OSSmosis Password" link. as per the screenshot below.

    1. You can also access Clearlogin administration directly by going to admin.clearlogin.com.
    If so please skip to Step 3.
  3. Click the "Admin Site" button at the top of the screen (this will only show for administrators)
  4. Go to Security > Access Rules

  5. Scroll down to "System"
  6. Click the Edit Access Rule button Image Removedfor the group that you wish to edit.
  7. Add your Authorized contacts.
  8. Go to User Profiles, locate the user and click the Edit button to edit their account

  9. The "Editing" page will show. Scroll down until you see the "Access Rules" section

  10. Click in the "Access Rules" field to see a list of default Access Rule options, and choose "Service User." The click the Update Access Rules button.

  11. Next, scroll to the top of the page and click on the Update User button. This step is required.

  12. The user's account will now show Service User as an additional access rule.

  13. Instruct your user/authorized contact to login to their Clearlogin dashboard (yourcompanyname.clearlogin.com) to establish their account.

Once this is completed the user should have access to the Help Center tile which will allow them to submit support tickets via The Evolve IP Help Center. They can also submit requests by emailing support@evolveip.net.

If this is a new user then they must still set their password to begin using their Clearlogin account. Please review Adding Users to Clearlogin and continue to Step 3.




Adding Authorized Contacts from the Access Rules screen

Security > Access Rules

You can also add Access Rules to contacts from Security > Access Rules.

  1. Login to your Clearlogin dashboard. This is a specific URL for your company, for example "yourcompanyname.clearlogin.com."

  2. Click the "Admin Site" button at the top of the screen (this will only show for administrators)

Adding access rules via the user's account

You can also edit the user's Access Rules from their user account. 

  1. Go to Security > Access Rules

  2. Scroll down to "System"
  3. Click the Edit Access Rule button for the group that you wish to edit.Click the "x" symbol next to the contact you wish to remove
  4. Add your Authorized contacts.
  5. Click "Update Access Rule."

  1. Locate the user Now, go to User Profiles, locate the user and click the Edit button to edit their account

  2. The "Editing" page will show. Scroll down until you see the "Access Rules" section

Removing Authorized Contacts

You can remove contacts from a User's profile by simply clicking the "x" symbol next to the Access Rule that you wish to remove.
